I had the good fortune to learn ballet as a child at the Singapore Ballet Academy. Stopped dancing and performing with the school during my 2nd year in the university, physically not good enough to cope with the advance grades. By then, dancing/ballet has been in my blood and soul.
Returned to SBA with my daughter when she was 6. Stayed as a accompanying mother till end 2006 as daughter, too, unfortunately has the similar sketetal structure as I and stopped her formal ballet lessons/exams.
I was out of town during the actual SBA concert this year-the 50th Anniversary Concert, but was able to sneak in during their dress rehearsals.Returned to SBA with my daughter when she was 6.
